Annually, The Philly Service Award offers $1,000 to each high school in Philadelphia for students to come together and build a project that changes their neighborhoods for the better.

❋ Project Funding

Each Philadelphia high school is eligible for one $1,000 project grant annually. Projects must directly benefit the city of Philadelphia outside of school walls. School improvement projects will not be approved.

❋ Wish List Funding

The faculty advisor from each school with an approved project will have the opportunity to earn $1,000 in additional funding to support classroom essentials by meeting project benchmarks.

❋ Impact Awards

Schools/Student teams that complete their projects are invited to submit for our Impact Awards in the spring where they can earn their share of $140,000 in prize funding. Impact Awards support school improvements and student enrichment at the winning institution.

❋ Exclusive Events

Students and faculty carrying out projects are invited to exclusive events through out the year including our Faculty Welcome Party, Participating Schools’ Day, and the Impact Awards Ceremony.
